Day 1: Arrival and cultural immersion
VIP welcome at Djerba-Zarzis airport with private transfer to your villa. Afternoon discovery in Houmt Souk, then welcome dinner in your villa with Djerbian couscous and egg brik prepared by a local chef.
Day 2: Heritage and traditions
Morning at the Ghriba Synagogue, followed by Guellala Museum to discover local crafts. Lunch with mechouia salad and grilled fish, then free afternoon for pottery or a walk through Guellala.
Day 3: Water adventure and relaxation
Spend the day at Sidi Mahrez: try kitesurfing or jet-skiing with a professional instructor, or choose a pirate-boat excursion to l’Île des Flamants Roses, a haven for nature lovers. Beach picnic with local specialities (brick, ojja). In the evening, unwind with a traditional henna massage in your villa.
Day 4: Desert and nomadic traditions
Adventure into Djerba’s desert: ride by camel to a hidden oasis, then cross the dunes by quad. Lunch in a Berber camp, with méchoui prepared on site. Evening under the stars with a local storyteller, traditional dances and mint tea around the fire.
Day 5: Nature and wellness
Morning at Djerba’s ostrich farm, a playful experience for all ages, followed by a visit to Dar Dhiafa, a hotel-museum celebrating Djerbian architecture. Lunch at a local restaurant with fish tagine. Wellness afternoon: hammam and argan-oil massage at a spa recommended by Rough Guides.
Day 6: Flavors and markets
Culinary day: cooking class for brik and Tunisian chorba, visit to Ajim fish market, lunch with traditional fish soup, then free afternoon in the olive groves or Midoun lanes.
Day 7: Gentle departure
A slow morning with a late breakfast in your villa (traditional breads, Djerba honey and fresh dates). Time for one last swim in your private pool or a walk on the beach. Private airport transfer with a basket of local souvenirs (olive oil, dates and a small Guellala ceramic pot).
